Morgan (Vanderhei) Simon
Co-Executive Director, Miss Competition

Morgan (Vanderhei) Simon began competing within the Miss America Organization in the fall of 2007, vying for the title four times before winning the job of Miss Wisconsin Rapids Area 2014. “It was an honor to represent my hometown, but this organization has had my heart since long before I was crowned. The local programs are the backbone of the MAO, and our local program and all its dedicated volunteers have helped shape me into the woman I am today.” During her year of service, Simon made more than 70 appearances and raised over $3,600 for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals; she also earned over $4,000 in scholarship dollars over the years. Since crowning her successor, Morgan has volunteered with the Miss Wisconsin Rapids Scholarship Program and helped to coordinate appearance opportunities, prior to taking on the Co-ED role in 2020.
She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with minors in Communication and Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Currently, she works as the College Outreach Coordinator for Mid-State Technical College and resides in Wisconsin Rapids with her dog Havok and cats, Themla Lou and Opie. In her free time she enjoys being outdoors, cooking and spending time with family, friends and her furbabies.

Tianna (Vanderhei) Goldberg

Tianna started competing within the Miss America Organization in 2010 as a candidate in the Miss Wisconsin Rapids Scholarship Organization, earning six local titles over the course of an eight year journey which culminated with her serving as Miss Wisconsin 2018. A trained dancer since age five, Vanderhei performed a lyrical dance for the talent portion of the competition. At state, she earned the Overall Dance Award, Overall Interview Award and Miracle Maker Award. At the 2019 Miss America competition, Tianna went on to win the first-ever Preliminary On-Stage Question/Interview Award and landed a spot among the Top 15. In total, earning more than $20,000 in scholarships to utilize toward paying off her education.

Tianna holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Organizational and Professional Communication Studies with a minor in Sports Broadcasting. She has extensive experience in broadcast journalism, working as a Multi-Media Journalist and Fill-In Anchor for an ABC affiliate prior to pursuing a career in advertising sales and marketing. She currently works as the Marketing Specialist for CharacterStrong, a pre-K through 12th grade social and emotional learning curricula that strives positively impact lives and make the world a more loving place. In her free time, she enjoys running, hunting, golfing and spending time with family, friends, husband, Grant and their puppy, Mabel.

Meg Kumm
Executive Director, Teen Competition

Meg has volunteered with the Miss Wisconsin Rapids Organization since 2017. She became involved after her sister, Madeline, served as Miss Wisconsin Rapids 2015.
Meg graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing Management. She currently works as a marketing specialist for Bank-A-Count Corporation, a provider of variably printed documents and business products. Meg continues her love for dancing as a choreographer and coach. She also enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
