Morgan Vanderhei
Co-Executive Director, Miss Competition

Morgan Vanderhei began competing in the Miss America Organization in 2007, earning the title of Miss Wisconsin Rapids Area 2014 after four attempts. “Representing my hometown was an honor, but my love for this organization started long before I was crowned. Local programs and their dedicated volunteers are the heart of MAO, and my involvement has helped shape me into the woman I am today.” During her year of service, she made 70+ appearances, raised over $3,600 for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, and earned more than $4,000 in scholarships. Since crowning her successor, Morgan has continued to support the Miss Wisconsin Rapids Scholarship Organization, as a volunteer before stepping into the Co-ED role in 2020.


She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with minors in Communication and Economics from UW-Stevens Point. Currently, she works as a Business Management Instructor at Mid-State Technical College. Morgan lives in Wisconsin Rapids with her dog, Havok, and cats, Thelma Lou and Opie. She enjoys the outdoors, reading, cooking, and time with loved ones—including her furbabies.

Tianna (Vanderhei) Goldberg
Co-Executive Director, Miss Competition

Tianna started competing within the Miss America Organization in 2010 as a candidate in the Miss Wisconsin Rapids Scholarship Organization, earning six local titles over the course of an eight year journey which culminated with her serving as Miss Wisconsin 2018. A trained dancer since age five, Vanderhei performed a lyrical dance for the talent portion of the competition.  At state, she earned the Overall Dance Award, Overall Interview Award and Miracle Maker Award. At the 2019 Miss America competition, Tianna went on to win the first-ever Preliminary On-Stage Question/Interview Award and landed a spot among the Top 15. In total, earning more than $20,000 in scholarships to utilize toward paying off her education.

Tianna holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Organizational and Professional Communication Studies from UW-La Crosse. She currently works as a Marketing Specialist for CharacterStrong, a PreK-12th grade social and emotional learning curricula that strives positively impact lives and make the world a more loving place. In her free time, she enjoys running, hunting, golfing and spending time with family, friends, husband, Grant, their son, and puppy, Mabel.

Meg Kumm
Executive Director, Teen Competition

Meg has volunteered with the Miss Wisconsin Rapids Organization since 2017.  She became involved after her sister, Madeline, served as Miss Wisconsin Rapids 2015. She currently serves as the Executive Director of the Miss Wisconsin Rapids' Teen Program, Treasurer for the organization, and choreographer for the competition each fall.

 

Meg graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing Management.  She currently works as a marketing specialist for Bank-A-Count Corporation, a provider of variably printed documents and business products.  Meg continues her love for dancing as a choreographer and coach.  She also enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
